My name is Manuel Mauer, I am 31 years old and I live in Schwabach with my wife and three kids.

I got interested in photography in 2005. Since 2007 photographing has been my job. I am a child of the digital age and of digital photography.

I only know analogue photography from my childhood. However, I do not see this as a disadvantage, since I got in contact with the possibilities of a computer and of digital pictures early. Thus I did not have difficulties getting used to digital image processing from the start.

In addition to being a freelancer in the photography section I have worked in a big bank company in Nürnberg since 1997. I work in quality assurance of IT-software development, therefore I am used to working with care and structure. Before starting work in quality management, I had worked in different branches in the sales department, so I know very well what a customer-oriented approach means.

To keep my knowledge in photography up-to-date and to get constant feedback on my work I am a member of the Fotoclub Schwabach and visiting workshops on regularly basis. My attitude to work is perfectionism, reliability and flexibility.
